Well it says what is says.
Currently PSCroll.com has no logo what-so-ever. And I thought it would be nice to have one.
As I'm basically stuffed with work, i didn't find the time yet to design one myself (not too mention I suck in designing that stuff)
So I'm calling out to you people, as some of you seem to know something about design and working with image software.
Basic requirement
looks and feel
Anything goes as long as it fits the purpose, the text pscroll (or pscroll.com) is not required but can be incorporated.
Keep color count to a minimum
size
Preferably scalable (so vectorized)
Bitmapped image is allowed, but make it big (and i mean big). (you never know what I might use it for)
filetype
preferabbly psd (photoshop) or ai (illustrator)
other types possible but pm me first, to be sure i have the tools to read the files
Submitting
Where do i submit my logo?
The original file can be mailed to me at logo@pscroll.com :)
If your having issues due to filesize restrictions with your mail provider, zip it (zip, rar, tar.gz). Still having issues? pm me and I'll set up some ftp access so you upload it directly to my pc.
Feel free to post the logo at psc too (link to thread), for reviews and suggestions from the psc community.
When should we deliver
i guess a month time should be enough, let' say by 19th October, 8am psc time (so when a new contest starts)
How will you choose if there are multiple entries?
after deadline i'll set up a voting system on the site, all contributing members will be able to vote for the top 5 of their choice. The voting will last for 5 days. The one with the most votes will obviously win. Should it happen there's a tie, then I'll make the final decision
What do I get for it
oh, are we greedy now? djeez...
anyway, currently:
* bragging rights
* credits on site (link to your own website and/or contact information, whatever you wish)
* a picture of me and/or Dot (whatever you wish and if Dot agrees, (sorry, no nude ones) )
* there might be an extra if my funds allow it ...
